I got a hot tip from an anonymous reader who has the inside scoop on the NEW 2010 Aerie A-List Program. This is so great! I had heard (just a rumor) that they were doing away with the FREE Item on Thursdays..now I am SUPER excited!!! Thank you to my reader for sharing this news!
Here’s how the new program works.
- If you already have an American Eagle All-Access Pass, you are ALREADY signed up for the 2010 A-list! They are making it easier so that you only have to keep up with one card, not 2. So, no more punch cards.
- You still go to any Aerie (not American Eagle) store one Thursday a month to get your FREE gift!
- Your All-Access pass will keep up with your A-list from now on.
- IF you are NOT already signed up with the AE All-Access Pass, an Aerie associate will sign you up for the NEW AE Rewards card (remember, if you have the previous AAP, you DON’T need a new card…they are all the same, just a new look and a new name).
- Under the old system, you earned points based on items that you purchased at Aerie and American Eagle. NOW, you earn 1 point for every dollar you spend, and your reward coupons (mailed out quarterly) will only be for the stores that you shopped at. For instance, if you ONLY shop at American Eagle during this quarter, you will ONLY get a rewards coupon for AE.
- Also, being on the A-list this year means that for every 4 bras you purchase, the company will mail you a coupon for a FREE bra! And there is NO LIMIT to how many of these Buy 4, Get the 5th FREE deals you can do each year!!!
- And for all you moms out there, American Eagle will be opening up brick-and-morter 77Kids stores later this year! Your All-Access Pass/AE Rewards card can be used there as well to earn points and get even more coupons! Just wanted to let you know how the new rewards program works this year.
- Let me also add that you DO NOT have to make a purchase to get your A-list gift, however, we have some super cute spring things coming in that I know you won’t be able to pass up!

The free gift for this month is a scented hand cream (2oz) in a new scent called “aerie in love”. I think you have to get the alist card to get these freebies, because I had made a purchase and used my aap and they didn’t give me the free gift until I signed up for the new alist card. I heard they were doing away with this program but I guess they just meant the way it was before.
