	Allison says: Just curious to know, how DO you know if you’ve won? I’ve signed up for several weekns now and never get an email or anything. Do they only send an email if you have won? Thanks

	Claire says: Allure will never email you if you have or haven’t won. The items just appear in your mailbox if you were among the first 500. The only time I have received an email about these giveaways was during the month of August when they give away many items each day of August. But those emails come from the company that is sending you the product, not Allure.

No, that’s not true. MANY readers have reported getting a “winner” email from Allure about 2 months after the giveaway. I personally have received just a box in my mail one day with no email so there is no way for me to say one or the other. You “could” get a winning email down the road OR you cuold just end up with a surprise in your mailbox one day. It seems since last year though that Allure has been pretty steady in sending out the “winning” emails. =) To have a chance though you really need to have the form filled out already and just hit the submit button AT noon on the dot! 500 freebies with hundreds of thousands of people trying for it go faster than you can blink.
