I’ve been save the coupons so I’m ready to go but I’m confused. Can I only use one coupon at time or can I get say 10 sobes and use 5 coupons in the same trip? We only have one CVS here in town and I’m afraid to go in with 10 coupons and get told I can only use them 1 at a time.

I won a coupon for buy one sobe get one free and it did not print?

  4. brandie says:

You use 1 coupon per 2 sobes. For instance if you have 5 coupons, you can get 10 free sobes with their BOGO free sale.
If you have 10 coupons, you can get 20 free sobes.
Not sure if there is a limit this time on these. You can always do multiple transactions. =)

If CVS is having the B1G1 and get 2 sobes I use one B1G1 coupon does that mean I pay nothing? Because it comes like I’m paying for none will they accept that? Will I have to pay for two and get two free. Please help. Thanks

  7. brandie says:

You don’t have to pay anything. You might pay tax, thats according to your state. I don’t have to pay tax at CVS in Texas when doing deals like this.

Let’s break this down using 1 BOGO Free Coupon for instance.

    Get 2 Sobes
1st Sobe is paid for by CVS with their BOGO Free Sale
2nd Sobe is paid for with your coupon
    BOTH= FREE

You can use this method for ANY items that CVS/TARGET have on sale for BOGO Free if you have a BOGO Free coupon for the product.

So when you did this last time you were able to get 120 free SOBE waters without having to pay for anything? Cause I thought they would make it to where you have to buy 1 but you get 2 free. But I guess they dont care as long as they get their money in the end. This will be great to stock up on for Zachary’s surgery on the 10th, thanks for the tip!

  9. brandie says:

That’s right Jennifer. I paid $0 for 120 Sobes…now..I had 60 coupons saved up, LOL.

You definitely have time though to print your coupons from the game! Make sure after you print once…hit the back arrow to print again. Sometimes the sobe game even lets you print more than 2! There were several days that it was letting people hit the back arrow and print up to 10 times!!!

Here’s another example found from a CVS Coupon Policy question on Krazy Coupon Lady’s site:
In the case where a particular item is on sale for “buy one get one free” (BOGO), you are only allowed to use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. For instance, if Revlon lipstick is on sale for BOGO, you can use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. You would get both items free and pay any applicable tax. We reserve the right to limit quantities on all items. If our store is running a sale for BOGO, you can use two manufacturer’s coupons for a specific dollar amount off. For example, if Revlon lipstick is on sale at our store for BOGO, you can use two $1.00 off Revlon lipstick manufacturer coupons.

This works with no questions asked. I had to pay sales tax on my bottles (so i’d rather save my coupons for target to stack with 2 of the 50 cent target coupons). But it’s a free for all on bogo’s.

  11. punckcash says:

But no one got a cashier that says you can’t get 2 bottle free with a bogo coupon printed and a bogo sale at cvs?

  12. brandie says:

No, punckcash….if you do get a cashier that says that, ask for a manager. It is in the CVS Coupon Policy that they accept a bogo free coupon on top of a sale and you get BOTH items FREE! =)

This is really cool by itself, but what makes it even cooler is you can use your cap you got from your free SoBes to play heads or tails AGAIN, and get even more free SoBes.

  15. Jennifer says:

Just played the sobe game. Got the coupon. Can’t wait until the first! I love the fuji apple pear. It’s amazing! And yeah Annamarie i’m excited too that the free sobes might be winners too!

  16. Brandi says:

    When does this end?

  17. Gio says:

On the heads or tails site, it says that the promo ends on September 14, or until the game pieces have exhausted I believe.

  18. Heather says:

Wow I guess I need to print their policy out. I went to one CVS – got 10 SOBE’s and gave them 5 coupons and they told me I couldn’t use the coupons because I didn’t actually pay for the SOBE’s. I told them nevermind then went to another CVS. This time I tried just 2 SOBE’s instead of 10. The clerk paged the manager and he came up and said I could use the coupon this time but I am not suppose to. Grrrr.

  19. Briana says:

I have two Cvs stores in my town and I went to one and got waters and they were fine with the coupons, no questions asked. I went to the other store and they refused to take the coupons I told them I had just used them at another Cvs and asked for a manager and the manager was very rude and wouldnt not let me use the coupons. So i guess I will just have to go back to the first store.

  20. MEG says:

I went to CVS today and they refused to take any internet coupons. Do you know if their policy has changed?

  21. JenVegaS says:

Yay! Went to cvs and only had to pay $0.05 CRV per bottle! I’m so glad I’ve been printing out the coupons from the game.

  22. Joy says:

Did the stores tell you there was a limit on how many you could buy?

  23. Kimmy says:

I went to my CVS this morning and when I went to the register to get my “free” Sobe with my coupons the cashier told me that their manager said that if anyone had the BOGO coupons that they could not be used during the sale.

  24. Kimmy says:

I just got off the phone with the main CVS and told them what happened about not accepting the BOGO coupons and they contacted the store right then to ask them about it since they are suppose to accept them according to their policy. They found out that the store was not accepting any BOGO coupon on any BOGO sale they have. The main CVS person told them they could not do that it was against corporate policy. The main CVS is going to contact the district office in charge of this store to let them know of this. Hopefully it will be corrected.

  25. Heather says:

I also called CVS corporate this morning just to be sure I understood the coupon policy before I went into the store and let them know about it. They contacted the 2 stores that I went to just to make surte they are aware of the coupon policy. It seems the district manager told the stores not to accept it but the corporate office was telling them they had to. Anyway…I went in and they cheerfully accepted my coupons. I did ask the corporate office if they had a limit and they said the stores have the right to limit the items at their discretion. I had only 6 coupons so I got 12 waters. Ahhh victory!

  26. Kimmy says:

This evening I went back into the same CVS I went to this morning that would not take my coupons and lo and behold, there was a sign now that said “Limit 6, 3 deals” and they took my coupons with no questions. Amazing!!

  27. Sam says:

I am glad to hear so many positive feedbacks after dealing with rude store’s. I had a run in with a mean manager here in my area who said he had just had a conference call with all 4 of the stores in my area and that no one was going to take more than 4 coupons per person (after I had already loaded my cart with every last sobe in the store haha). After I left there I went to 2 more store’s in my area and they informed there was no such call. I am wondering if I should call corporate on this rude manager or if I should just let it go since he did have the right to limit the coupon number and I wound up getting my sobe’s plus rain checks for more. Any suggestions?

  28. Diana says:

The CVS in my town did not have a problem accepting the B1G1 free coupons. However, they charge me an extra 10 cent each SoBe drinks because according to the fine print on the B1G1 free coupon they will reimburse you for the selling price up to the maximum value of $1.69 and their SoBe drinks is $1.79 each. CVS is very tricky when it comes to these B1G1 deals. In Shop Rite Sobe drinks only cost $1.09 which, I can buy two compare to buying one in CVS.

  29. KB says:

I had no problems with the coupons being accepted at my CVSes. And my CVSes have no limit.

However, and I thought this was interesting after the debate on here during the last Sobe BOGO at CVS, I had to wait all week for CVS to restock today because on the first day of the sale some crazy couponer went into both stores and cleared out their entire stock. I was definitely bummed that one person would take that opportunity from the whole area.

(Another) However: I got a rain check out of it that they said I can use later for more BOGOs even though I ended up squeezing out a dozen freebies at the last restocking of the sale! Woo hoo!
