This book is brought to you by the wonderful General Mills! I learned so much from my trip to the General Mills Headquarters in July. In fact, did you know that Gold Medal is the oldest General Mills brand?! General Mills started as the first flour mill in Minneapolis in 1866. The company won a gold medal in 1880 which is what later led the the brand, Gold Medal. Below is a neat picture I snapped during a presentation at General Mills.
